Integrating 3PLs and warehouse management systems with Tether

Tether connects to the warehouses and 3PLs you already use, and your 3PL or WMS still runs the floor. Tether routes sales orders to the right warehouse, tracks stock by state, and follows every purchase order until it is delivered. It also predicts the stockout date for each SKU at each warehouse.
Sales orders come in from your sales channels
Sales orders flow in from Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, and wholesale EDI, and Tether routes each one to the right warehouse under routing rules you build.
Sales history feeds planning as well. Tether pulls sales from Shopify, Amazon, EDI, your ERP, or data warehouses like BigQuery and Snowflake, and numbers update near real-time with lightweight delta syncs.
Inventory is tracked by state
Tether tracks stock by state rather than as one number. These are the states Tether tracks:
- On hand
- Sellable
- Committed (reserved for orders)
- Unsellable
- In production
- In transit
Each SKU also gets a predicted stockout date at each warehouse. See the inventory page for more.
Purchase orders are tracked from draft to receipt
Consolidated PO tracking follows each purchase order from draft to inventory receipt. Three related capabilities sit next to that tracking:
- You get flagged the moment a delivery date slips and long before it becomes a stockout.
- Your forecast updates on its own when a shipment slips.
- Tether automatically analyzes and reconciles the initial plan against the actual receipt.
Purchase order management also syncs POs with your ERP and shows how incoming stock affects your forecast.
How do you connect your warehouse systems?
You start on the integrations page, which lists 245+ integrations. Connecting Amazon takes less than a minute.
The Tether team handles the data migration and mapping for you, and no data cleaning is required. Implementation typically takes 2 to 4 weeks.
FAQ
Can we connect our own warehouse and a 3PL at the same time?
You do not have to choose between them. Tether works with the warehouses and 3PLs you already use, and it predicts a separate stockout date for each SKU at each warehouse.
Can Tether move stock between our warehouses on its own?
Tether does not move stock by itself. When it predicts a stockout, it recommends a purchase or transfer, and your team places the order.
What about orders that arrive as PDFs?
Some orders never pass through a connected system. Tether AI reads PDF purchase orders and sales orders, and a person on your team checks them.
What fees does Tether charge?
Tether pricing has no usage fees, no per-user fees, no data fees, and no onboarding fees. The Tether team can walk you through what your plan includes.
Where do we get help while we connect our warehouse systems?
Every plan includes a dedicated Slack channel or email for support. During onboarding you can also have optional weekly 30-minute calls with the Tether team.
